Buy video

An amazing edition for the Chester zoo, eight African dog pups were born on the Sunday 19 November 2017 to mum K’mana. They are born blind and spent 6 weeks in the den. After about 3 weeks their eyes open up and now we got to see them. In this video, this poor puppy is getting a bit over exercised while chasing its sibling. He stumbles and tumbles which looks especially bad when you look at the slow motion. Fortunately the African Wild Dog puppy seems fine and just sits their afterwards as if to say what did just happen? Or is it a case of oh no, everyone is watching, I just act like nothing has happened' The pup then just gets up, runs off and back to play time with his siblings like nothing ever happened.
The African wild dog, also called the painted dog are on the endangered list do to decline of these habitat fragmentation, human persecution, and disease outbreaks.
