Two children narrowly escaped death after running in front of a truck in Coltishall village, Norfolk.

The dashcam footage, captured on January 30, shows the moment the children run across a road without looking -leaving them in the path of an oncoming 7.5-tonne truck.

The mother, who sees the huge truck driving in her children's direction, rushes to the road with her hands in the air in an attempt to protect the children.

Fortunately, the driver slams on the brakes just in time and nobody gets hurt.

The filmer writes:''The children had been waiting to cross the road but for whatever reason, they decided not to wait for their mum's assistance.

''Luckily the truck managed to stop and nobody was hit.

''The truck driver did stop and check on the kids and mum.

''They were all shaken by the near miss but, after a few minutes they were all fine and he went on his way.''

This happened on the B1150 heading north out of Coltishall village towards North Walsham on the 30/1/2018.
