My partner and myself went on holiday to bodrum turkey in July 2017 where I got down on 1 knee and proposed to my partner, we were due to return to England when once we arrived at the airport we learnt that Thomas cook had withheld information that our flights were drastically delayed and could possibly be cancelled, we where then told by Thomas cook representatives that our flight had been cancelled until further notice and that they would put us in one of their hotels free of charge and this would be fully inclusive and that a Thomas cook representative would be at the hotel at all times until we departed for the airport, when we arrived at the hotel they did not accommodate for the disabled as there was a huge steep drive way and no access for the disabled, we had to help an elderly lady and her daughter with access, and in the process the staff nearly injured ya elderly lady, we where given our room key as it as early hours of the morning, when we got to our room we realised how filthy the room, bed and bathroom really was, with the water being dark brown in colour, we slept best we could and went for breakfast in the morning, the food was unhygienic, cutlery and plates were filthy, wasps swarmed from full waste bins, we complained numerous times to the hotel owners like many other people, the conditions where that bad a male assaulted a female member of staff out of frustration, we were told that the Thomas cook representative had left without warning, even though we where told they would be at the hotel the entire time of our stay to help with issues we may need to raise all we were told was that they would be along some time that day, conditions quickly got worse with a pregnant woman sleeping in reception due to a extremely bad bed bug infestation, we were constantly complaining as we couldn’t eat or drink anything due to such poor hygiene standards, eventually after a full day of making complaint after complaint and waiting the Thomas cook representatives arrived and we decided to record this incident as evidence, date filmed was 16 or 17th July 2017 in bodrum turkey( can’t select correct date below)
