This driver caught a crash with his vehicle on dashcam. The other driver had attempted to merge into his lane catching him by surprise and the two cars collided with damage to the entire left side of his car.

The drivers then pulled into a bus stop and exchanged names and insurance details. The road was the A422 west from Milton Keynes.

Place; Milton Keynes, A422 Duel carriageway, going West (Monks way) adjacent to Junction with Bradwell road.
Road conditions; Very good, Dry and clear.
Weather; Dry, Sunny.
My Speed; 53 mph
Red Car speed; 5-10 mph
Dash Cam; On, and all of collision recorded.
Damage to Red Car: Wing mirror destroyed and scratches on offside body work. (I didn’t inspect closely)
I pulled over to the righthand lane to allow Red Car to join the left-hand lane, which he did but instead of letting me continue to pass he continued to close on to my lane where I couldn’t avoid a collision.
I then pulled into a Bus Stop where we exchanged details. There were two (2) occupants in Red Car

Damage to My Car; Wheel trim to offside lost. Dents and scratches to nearside bodywork. Wing mirror destroyed. Passenger door only opens 3 or 4 inches. Photos taken.
