Surreal Lava Footage

I'd like to share with you guys some sad, yet powerful and amazing footage I was able to capture while I was in Hawaii. Mount Kilauea is one of five volcanoes that make up the Big Island of Hawaii. Kilauea has been active and almost continuously erupting since its last eruption in 1983. Earthquakes continue to hit the island; and a few weeks ago, several broke the internal structure of the volcano. This has forced the pressure up and out from the earth’s surface which make fissures that open up. This footage is from one of the most active fissures on the island and as you can see after some time, the lava has made its way into the ocean. Pure destruction and creation all at the same time is simply stunning. Prayers and thoughts for all of those in Hawaii.
