Boy playing with inflatable gator doesn’t realize real one is lurking nearby
A boy playing with an inflatable gator didn’t realize a real one was lurking nearby.
In the video, a boy named Timmy is seen playing with an inflatable gator on a Slip 'n' Slide at his home in Orlando, Florida, while his mother films him.
The boy picks up the inflatable gator and walks back toward the house to make another run on the Slip 'n' Slide. At that moment (00:22), a real alligator can be seen lurking just a few feet away from the boy on the right side of the screen. (If you still can’t spot the alligator, it’s sitting just past the dark chair on the right.)
Soon after, the boy’s mom says, “Wrangling gators … I was hoping to make one of those funny YouTube videos — like the gator did something to you and you popped up in the air.”
In the second part of the video, the mother is heard telling her children to get in the house after they've seen the alligator.
“This gator attracted this guy,” the mother says, as she points the camera at the inflatable gator on the grass and back to the real one in the water. “You see his eyeball? He went on my Slip 'n' Slide, people.”
No one was hurt by the gator, according to reports.
