Who needs a bulldozer when you can get an elephant to knock down a tree?
A bull elephant was captured on film knocking down a tree in Kruger National Park in South Africa on June 10.
“While on safari in South Africa's Kruger National Park with Wild Wings Safaris, we watched this elephant bull trying to reach the leaves on the high branches of this tree,” the filmer said.
“He was unable to reach the leaves and decided to use his brute strength to push the tree over,” the filmer continued. "He pushed twice and on the third push there was a loud crack as the tree broke in half and fell over.”
“Even though elephants are known as destructive browsers who often push down big trees like this one, it was very special to be able to witness up close how powerful a fully grown elephant is,” the filmer said.
