This is what it might look like if you found yourself at the centre of a shark feeding frenzy.

The impressive clip was captured by attaching a camera to a "chumsicle" - which replicates the carcass of an animal - and then lowering it into shark-infested waters.

As soon as the bait hits the seabed, sharks begin to circle and bite the "chumsicle".

Within half an hour, not a scrap of food remains.

After approx half and hour the last piece of food has fallen out (I have to briefly shake the cage to try and free it) You will see that as soon as the food has gone the sharks behaviour instantly pacifies. This allows divers to come over and safely look for teeth. Do not buy shark teeth. Chumsicles are a great way of feeding sharks as they can observe their own natural feeding hierarchy as opposed to hand feeding. This way the sharks don't associate food with humans.
