I was driving home in Torrance, CA and saw a pillar of smoke. It was intense and I thought an entire building was burning down. But when I got closer I saw a car raging in flames. It burned very intensely. There was only one cop on the scene so it just started. Then I heard an explosion (the tires were blowing out). It continued to rage until fire dept. showed up and hosed it down!

I was driving home and saw, what I thought, was a structure fire. But when I turned the corner, I saw a van ablaze. It was clear it just started. It was parked in front of a jewelry store with no one in sight (owner of the vehicle). A crowd was JUST starting to form, so I know it happened seconds before I got there. I pulled over and began to tape. It was a very aggressive fire that spread to the entire vehicle, then the tires started to explode, and what I think, was the gas tank. Firefighters got there pretty late, and put it out. Then the owners clearly showed up. Shocked. Didn't seem like they knew. Although, the car wasn't parked in a stall. It was in the middle of the entrance. Also, surprisingly, very few police showed up. Just a few cars.
