Driving my truck through the busy streets of Northampton, just when the Northampton Saints rugby club had finished, so the paths were busy with pedestrians.

This cyclist was riding up the path and at the exact moment I was due to go past him he rides directly into the road and I thought under my wheels! I managed to move my truck to the right only ever so slightly as I had cars on my right and very little time to react. I honestly expected the worst, I thought I had squashed him, as I was driving a fully loaded 44 ton truck.

I came to a stop and was about to exit the vehicle and face what I thought was going to be a very disturbing scene, only to see this guy cycle up beside me, whilst shouting some profanities at me. Like I was to blame in this!

I drove off and decided to stay behind him until I was sure that he wasn't going to try and do the same thing again or I considered he may be drunk.

At the end of the clip, you can see him cycle off, I'm not sure he realised just how lucky he was!
