Heavy flooding in an underground car park in Montpellier
A dramatic video has emerged of floodwater rushing into a car park in Montpellier, Hérault, France.
The footage, captured on Monday afternoon, shows water pouring down the stairs and through the elevator shaft of an underground IKEA car park.
The Newspaper Le Monde reported that 4,000 people who live in the Hérault department had to spend Monday night away from their homes as a result of the flooding.
