Incredible footage of a great white shark breaching the water in South Africa trying to catch bait.

In the clip, filmed October 19, 2017, in Mossel Bay, a white shark can be seen having a great time circling a tour boat and charging after some bait on a boathook.

“The 12-foot great white shark surprises the bait handler and lunges out of the water missing the cage full of divers by inches,” says Allen the shark watcher.

Luckily Allen was quick enough not to lose his GoPro during the narrow escape.

This feisty White Shark, in Mossel Bay South Africa was having a great time around the boat. After a short tussle with the bait handler the shark gives one last snap and almost bites the GoPro. Luckily the cameraman, Allen, was quick enough for a narrow escape.
