Hurricane Michael winds caused a tree to snap in half and take down electrical power lines in its path on October 11 as the storm hit Georgia after landfall along the Florida Panhandle.

Footage captured in Warner Robins, a city located in the center of the state, shows the incident.

"I was assessing my yard after the hurricane last night and this happened," filmer and local resident Leroy Etheridge told Newsflare.

Michael has killed at least six people and left more than a million people without power across the region. The storm packed maximum sustained winds of 155 mph and a central pressure of 919 millibars, making it among the top four most-powerful hurricanes to hit the United States.
