A huge crowd attended the funeral of Naji Jamal Zaaneen, a 25-year-old Palestinian who died during Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza strip earlier today, according to the Ministry of Health.

Footage captured today (October 17) shows mourners carrying the wrapped-up body to a cemetery in Beit Hanoun town.

Naji was killed when Israeli plane bombed Beit Lahiya in the northern part of Gaza.

More than 10 others were wounded in the airstrikes which Israel carried out after a rocket struck a home in southern Israel.

Naji Jamal Zaaneen, 25, was the first Palestinian fatality in the Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip that started early Wednesday, according to the Ministry of Health.

Zaaneen, from Beit Hanoun in the north of the Gaza Strip, was killed when Israeli warplanes bombed a location north of Beit Lahiya, also north of Gaza.
