Van does hit-and-run on two women in southeast London
A hit-and-run involving a van knocking down two ladies after turning a corner took place in Penge High Street, southeast London on Wednesday evening (November 28).
The filmer said: "What I think happened the driver of the van turning of High Street to side Road opposite Sainsbury’s and then knocked the two ladies who they were crossing the road and didn’t stop.
"The old lady must be in her late 60s and the daughter in her 30s - I think they were mother and daughter."
Police cordoned off the road while an ambulance and paramedics attended the scene of the accident, and the two ladies were taken away by ambulance.
