Partial Solar Eclipse on Apple River 10/23/2014
The partial solar Eclipse of 10/23/14. A beautiful Thursday evening. As captured from the banks of the Apple River in Amery, Wisconsin. The image is remarkable for the shimmering atmosphere and lens flare artifacts which reflect a reversed image of the eclipse.
During a wide shot, we see a fishing boat cruise through the suns reflection. Moments later, this boat had capsised and I had to go on a rescue mission via canoe!
