A video has emerged of rowdy celebrations on the streets following the San Francisco Giants’ World Series win on Wednesday.

The footage, shot at the Mission District in San Francisco, shows hundreds of baseball fans wreaking havoc on the streets after the Giants team won the Championship over the Kansas City Royals. The troublemakers can be seen jumping over a fire set in the middle of a crossroad and climbing over residents’ cars.

Police officers in riot gear were sent around 11pm to disperse the crowd but the filmer still managed to take a video ‘selfie’ as she was running from the police forces.

According to police spokesman Gordon Shyy, only a handful of arrests were made on the night of the event.
