A funny video has emerged of a man cleaning his basement in flippers after a flood in Montpellier, France.

The footage, captured after heavy rain hit the region on Wednesday, shows a man, dressed only in a shirt, pants and flippers, sweeping floodwater out of his basement.

Speaking to the camera, the man thanks his Uncle Robert for the flippers and also demonstrates a basic workout routine using his mop.

The filmer jokes: “We, sir, are never bored in the south of France,” to which the man adds “we love living by the shore that’s why we live in the south, and now it’s even better! And the water is quite warm as well!”
