A massive fight broke out in the middle of Belfast International Airport on Saturday evening with two groups of travellers punching each other and hurling objects, including shopping baskets and fire extinguishers.

"Police took around 20mins to arrive and there was absolutely no airport security at all," said the filmer, Kirk Rutherford.

The airport tweeted: "Police were in attendance and are dealing with the incident."

Two groups of travellers, travelling to Manchester and London Stanstead got into an altercation at Belfast Internaltional Airport. Both groups were able to lift and throw items such as shopping baskets fire extinguishers at each other, as well as hitting each other with Poles and mops. Police took around 20mins to arrive and there was absolutely no airport security at all.
