A flotilla known as Freedom Ship 23 was launched 3:00pm Tuesday from Gaza port as part of ongoing attempts to break the Israeli siege imposed on the Gaza Strip.

Around 40 fishing boats joined the 22 -strong procession, and sailed off the northern sea coast of the Gaza Strip until they reached the area between northern Gaza Strip and Israel. Boats were then forced to head back to shore.

The National Committee for Breaking the Siege, which organised the naval march, said "the naval marches will continue until our goals are achieved."

The "Freedom Ship "23" was launched today Tuesday at 15:00 pm ,from the Gaza port ,west of the city, in an attempt to break the Israeli siege imposed on the Gaza Strip 12 years ago.
