A group of pro-EU activists and their pooches gathered near Parliament yesterday (March 10) to express their frustrations over Theresa May's handling of Brexit.

The 'wooferendum' took place in Victoria Tower Gardens near the Houses of Parliament with a huge turnout of dogs draped in EU flags.

The host of the event said: "We don't like what's going on, we're gonna have another one on 23 March to say 'we really don't like what's going on'."

The hounds gathered around an effigy resembling the prime minister with pictures of Tory ministers Boris Johnson and Jacob Rees-Mogg attached.

"We had a Wooferendum in back October, a week before that fantastic march, when about 750 000 turned up in London to say: "We don't like what's going on, - says the host. "We gonna have another one on 23 March to say: "We really don't like what's going on." In the meantime, one of the English bulldogs, is using a pee stop with Boris and JRM images under Theresa May effigy to have his say on what is going on.
