Head on collision 2 cars Footage from injured party Car overtaking on a Two way Road Hits oncoming car car. From my car 05.11.2018 other driver received £360 Fine 12 Months Ban Prosecuted for Dangerous Driving at Jedburgh Sheriffs Court
I had minor injures and Grade 2 Whiplash

This is a video shot from my VW Passat Estate fitted with a Nextbase Dash Cam I was Travelling Northbound on the A1 just over the border into Scotland at Reston (GPS is on the Video)
I was travelling to Edinburgh to meet some one (Social)
This section is a two way single carriageway
It was dark 1800hrs 5th November 2018
Commuter Traffic ( Moderate to Busy)

Vehicle travelling South bound pulled out to overtake a line of cars and a van
I was told the he 'Thought it was a duel carriageway' IT WASN'T
I could not see as my view is masked by the Truck in front of me, the road is also a slight incline (up for me) and a slight curve to the left (for me)
I saw the Truck brake lights come on I broke, and the Truck went partly off the road onto a gravel drainage verge
Out of nowhere a VW Beetle (as I found out later) hit my car
As I have been told, the Beetle spun and hit another car that was following
My Airbags were deployed
My car door was damaged and I found adrenaline fueled strength to force my way out the car.
I was panicking that other traffic was going to hit me.
4 weeks off work
I am unsure of the other drivers injuries
I was taken by ambulance to Borders General Hospital x-rayed and later discharged with a thick head
The line of traffic that the Beetle was overtaking was as I have been told 3 cars and a Transit van at the front
