An adorable video has emerged of a fearless young girl letting a large spider walk all over her.

In the footage, captured by the toddler’s mother Laura Haystaff at their home in Hampshire, UK on Wednesday, two-year-old Florence seems delighted to play host to the large creepy crawly - a common English garden spider.

“[She’s] a pretty inquisitive little girl…as you can see she was more than comfortable to let the spider have a wander, even so close to her face” her mother later wrote online.

Laura describes both her daughters as “comfortable with creepy crawlies and animals”, saying “I grabbed the camera to get her reaction as this beastie was so massive! She was very calm, gentle and unfazed and didn't mind him creeping closer under her arm and eventually out of sight across her back. He then appeared on her other side, up along her arm and crept towards her face. She was fascinated.”
