A mother thought she was outsmarting her son by tricking him into doing the 'get that money' challenge.

The mother commented: "[Other kids} were smacking their heads off the wall. No shame, I thought it was HILARIOUS."

The 'get that money challenge' involves dropping a credit card down a wall or door and another tries to catch the falling card with their head.

They tried the game on June 1 at their home in Lockport, Illinois.

The boy ended up buying a space Lego set with his winnings.

I should’ve known better than to try to get one over on my son. He’s good at everything! He definitely got a toy too.

I was laying in bed that morning and stumbled upon a couple of those videos and every kid was smacking their heads off the wall. No shame, I thought it was HILARIOUS. I had to have him try it. I could not believe he actually caught it though. He’s quite obsessed with legos so he ended up getting a space LEGO set.
