UK sisters burst into tears of joy when meeting new puppy for the first time
Two sisters from Lennoxtown in Scotland couldn’t hide her excitement when their parents gifted them with a new puppy.
Footage captured on April 16 shows Robyn, 10, and Maisie, 8, walking into a room where their parents hid their present.
''It’s in the cage,'' the dad says pointing to a cage covered by a blanket.
Both sisters lift a blanket and find an adorable german shepherd puppy inside the cage.
They open the door of the cage to touch the tinny puppy amid screams and tears of joy.
Their father Barry Macmillan told Newsflare: ‘’Our previous family dog died suddenly in November 2018 which had left our family devastated.
''My daughters Robyn and Maisie had been really upset and had been struggling to come to terms with our loss.
''We had told the girls that we would possibly get a new dog but it wouldn't be until after our family holiday in August 2019 at the earliest if at all.
''Meanwhile, behind the scenes, my wife and I had been contacting breeders and looking at German shepherd puppies. We arranged to collect Roxi, a 9-week old German shepherd, on my birthday in April.
''I had told them that I had a birthday present that I wanted them to help me open when they came home. Their reaction was a surprise to us and we were glad that we had caught the whole thing on camera.''
