A British woman kept a flight to London waiting for more than one hour on Friday after she called three Muslim passengers “terrorists” and refused to fly with them, according to fellow passengers.

The incident took place on Thomas Cook flight MT105 from Dalaman, Turkey to London.

The woman delayed the plane by 70 minutes as she told flight attendants she was too panicked to fly with the men and refused to board.

"When I as well as other passengers challenged her views, we were faced with verbal abuse which caused havoc across the whole plane," said Shanea Kerry, who filmed this clip.

"Before they...removed her from the plane, she gathered her things and continued to verbally abuse passengers including myself," Kerry added.

"Thomas Cook airlines apologised for the delay (1-2 hours) but failed to apologise for the trauma experienced and failed to provide the main victims of the racial abuse with support," she added.

I’m 18 years old, my friend & I went on our first trip away to Turkey. As we boarded our flight home we were subjected to a very traumatic experience where 2 women disrupted the whole journey due to their racist and discriminatory behaviour. They both boarded the plane and saw that there were 3 Asian Muslim passengers and began to demand that they get removed from the plane because they are ‘a threat’. They also went on to say that they are ‘disgusting’ and implied that they are terorrists. When i as well as other passengers challenged her views, we were faced with verbal abuse which caused havoc across the whole plane. this left many feeling distressed, anxious, angry and upset - some were left in tears. Before they apparently removed her from the plane, she gathered her things and continued to verbally abuse passengers including myself. Thomas Cook airlines apologised for the delay (1-2 hours) but failed to apologise for the trauma experienced and failed to provide the main victims of the racial abuse with support. Passengers responding to her abuse were even told to calm down instead of managing her behaviour at one point. Also, 1 air hostess was even laughing throughout this encounter which I find utterly disgusting.
