A huge seagull eating a pigeon
A huge seagull devouring a street pigeon in Belfast City Centre, Northern Ireland.
I was walking to work this morning and I noticed a seagull was pecking at something on the ground and when I got closer I could see it swallowing chunks of a small pigeon.
Onlookers walking past were heard saying ‘I can’t believe what I’m seeing’. ‘I didn’t know seagulls ate pigeons’. ‘This is like something out of the discovery channel and it’s on a street in Belfast’.
I was shocked myself because as a passerby tried to stop it the seagull came flying back and starting eating again.
Seagulls really have lost the run of themselves in this city.
