While visiting New Orleans on vacation, we were in the area immediately after the hotel collapse tragedy. We were speaking with a woman who lived in the building next door which was evacuated due to risk of the Hard Rock project collapsing on/near it. She had 4 elderly dogs in her apartment that she couldn't get to. She was panicked about her pups. The "fire chief" (how she referred to him) went in the building with a firefighter and they emerged with all four dogs (two in a stiller, two in arms). This video captures the heartfelt moment of their reunion, and the heroic actions of the firefighters.
