Professional diver Bartolomeo Bove goes underwater and gets up close with sharks during a feeding session off the coast of Florida.

Filmed in 2017, Bove films his close encounters with several sharks that whizz past him and clamp their teeth into chunks of floating bait made from a kind of tuna called bonita.

Bove told Newsflare: "The stretch of ocean between Palm Beach County, Florida and The Bahamas is one of the few places in the world where it is possible to find a rich variety of sharks year-round.

"The warm Gulf Stream attracts a lot of baitfish, small fish that represent a food source for larger fish that are in turn the sharks natural prey. The vast majority of the shark species found in Florida waters are migratory."
