The Indian Republic day horse rehearsal show turned into an animal battleground after two horses were spotted tussling with each other on the field.

The video, captured on January 18 in Rajkot, Gujarat, shows two enraged horses that got into a fight when the belt of one horse snapped onto another horse's leg which led them both to go out of control.

The riders were called in to break up the fight and it continued until more policemen arrived to take control.

The horse show was held at the Mounted Police Department ground in Popatpara area of ​​Rajkot and the event will continue for some more days until January 26 for Republic Day itself.

The video captured on 18th January shows two horsemen clashing against each other during the show when another set of enraged horses went out of control and took to fight it out in the open space. The belt of one horse broke into another horse's leg during the fight which led them to go out of control. The mountain policemen were called in to break the fight and it continued until the policemen arrived to take the control.

The Horse show was held at the Mountain Police Department ground in Popatpara area of ​​Rajkot and the event will continue for some more days until January 26th which is the occasion of the Republic day for India.

A total of 5 horsemen participated in the horse show event that was presided over by the state's chief minister Vijay Rupani.
