California English teacher lovingly demands quarantined kids win vocabulary bowl amid coronavirus lockdown
The encouraging moment of rage is seen when an English teacher in California's Bay Area decides to go on a bit of vocabulary rampage to encourage his quarantined students to keep up with their lessons, but mostly because he misses them dearly.
The Vacaville, California teacher decided to enact his grammatical gripe with his quarantined kiddos on Tuesday (April 7).
"Unfortunately, we've all been quarantined for the past several weeks and I've been having a tough time getting students to keep working on their vocabulary. So, with that in mind, I partnered with our parent group at school and had signs made for our seniors to let them know that we're thinking about them, miss them, and recognize that they're missing out on so much that makes a senior year in high school so memorable," said the self-styled Larry Lexicon in an exclusive interview with Newsflare.
The rage of love is hilarious as Larry visits home after home and demands some more syntactical swooning from his students, but also to lift their spirits in a tough time for everyone.
"I thought it would be fun to show up at their houses and make them think I was mad about their lack of effort in the Vocab Bowl recently, but really all I wanted to do was give them a sign to boost their morale," said the loving Lexicon.
