Owner Teerachai Jelee recorded his cute pets in their backyard in Songkhla, southern Thailand on April 11.

Footage shows the motherly hen taking care of the seven puppies. It is picking the pooches' fleas while warming them with its thick wings.

The chick nanny appears genuinely fond of the little mutts, it sill gives them the friendly look even if the pups are slightly biting parts of its body.

Teerachai said: "Those puppies were abandoned, so I kept them as pets. I am glad that my hen seems to be loving them as if its her own children. My friends keep asking me how the hen has puppies instead of chickens."
