Strawberry full moon rise behind the Needles Isle of Wight
Strawberry full moon rise on 5th June 2020. Avon beach, Mudeford UK. I planned this shot as I knew I could get an angle with the moon rising behind the Needles. I also shot high resolution stills of the scene separately while filming. I have been trying to get this shot for years as I am not always in the UK and the moon doesn't always rise behind the Needles and of course the weather doesn't always cooperate! The video is sped up in post production for most of the clip reverting to normal speed for the last few seconds with the seagull flying into and out of the shot to finish the clip. Works well with ocean wave sound FX and soothing background music.
