Residents of Gary, Indiana claimed white cops made an "aggressive" arrest recently of a black man and also claimed they used racist language as they investigated a housing dispute.

A video shows Montrell Neal being arrested on June 8th after his cousin's landlord called the cops after a dispute

Neal's cousin, Larnardo Williams II, says his landlord wasn't maintaining the property properly and so complained to the landlord.

After an apparent altercation between Williams and the landlord, the landlord allegedly called the police.

Police allegedly spoke to the landlord before speaking to Williams, then later approached both Neil and Williams about the altercation.

According to the filmer, the police said, "I'm tired of you Chicago [explicit word] coming to Indiana and not knowing what you can and can't do."

The video shows police push Williams out of the way as he blocks Neil from being arrested and the police proceed to enter his home to arrest Neil.

"Get his badge number," the filmer says.

The police take Neil into their vehicle as Neil tells the filmer, "I don't have any shoes on!"

"Aggressive for no reason!" the filmer yells.

Hours later, Neil was released on bail.

Indiana police have been contacted for comment.
