Extinction Rebellion block Bank of England entrance with string causing a "fire hazard"
Extinction Rebellion held a noisy protest outside the Bank of England on Thursday (July 2) against bailouts for companies & industries the activist group say are harming the planet.
At one point, activists are seen blocking off the entrance to the Bank of England with string. Police confronted them, informing them that it is a "fire hazard". When the protesters refused to remove the string, police had to cut it.
Protesters outside the Bank of England chanted "bankers, w***ers", played drums and danced.
