This Orphan Girl Singing the Song From the Musical Annie Might Be The Sweetest Thing You'll See Today

A tourist visiting Mozambique was stopped in her tracks when she heard a little girl singing the song "Tomorrow", from the famous Annie musical.

"She didn't speak any other English, and when she finished singing she just ran away! When I asked around they told me that she lives at the orphanage, which you can see behind her." Most of the kids in this orphanage are there because their parents have died of AIDS or another condition. In some cases they've been abandoned by their parents, rescued from prostitution or found dying of starvation.

"The need here is overwhelming, but the extraordinary thing is that they are so incredibly joyful. I can imagine the humanitarian comes to a place like this in the hope of creating some transformation, only to find that they themselves are the ones most transformed by the experience".
