A woman was seen crying and screaming after a 53-year-old man was shot dead in Brooklyn, New York on Sunday (August 9).

Footage filmed around 6 pm showed police around a body lying on the ground covered with a white sheet. A woman was also seen crying near the scene.

According to local media, it is unclear what led up to the shooting.

This time a 51 years old "Chris" was a well known and well behaved person among his friends and family and a hard working construction men.
One of his friends that didn't identify his name said he was an awesome guy we played hand ball domino's whenever we saw eachother he was a cool dude a loving father and a good friend and a hard worker has been working in construction sense a kid never seen him argue with no one he alwas stayed out of trouble. We where playing hand ball another of Chris friends said when shots on the walk way started the first two shots we thought were fireworks then we fell on the ground at the 3rd there were a total of 9 shots fired i looked to my side saw my girlfriend on the ground and othere people were on the ground aswell looked to my other side and there a couple feet away from me was Chris unconscious bleeding, this is unbelievable chris friend said here are hundreds of kids and mothers around playing all the time, the shooting was a couple hundred feet away yet chris got a blind bullet on his head this is shocking to me he continued, a bunch of tees with guns look what they did. Another bystander said chris was one of our best fellows he was such a nice person I loved seeng him on the weekends when he was off ov work we had so much fun playing racket ball tennis and exercising in this public park. Chris was enjoying his Sunday at the park playing hand ball whith his friends when shots started going of , chris was not the target of the shooting , there was a cellphone robbery and drag deputes going on and one of the thiefs pulled out a gun and started shooting, another bystander said I got behind the tree he said when I saw and heard the gun. Chris was shot Round 6pm local time Brooklyn NY.
