Mauritius: Oil Spill Reaches Coast
The oil spill reached the coasts of Mauritius many days after a bulk carrier run aground a coral reef on the island on July 25.
Black oil can be seen covering the sand and vegetation along the beaches. Prime Minister Pravind Jugnauth had declared a state of environmental emergency.
