Jamel Edmons, 33, was shot dead outside a Brooklyn housing development Thursday night after two attackers chased him down, police sources said. (August 27, 2020)

The shooting took place near 644 Park Ave.

Edmons was taken to Woodhull Hospital, but he couldn’t be saved.

“He was my brother. He was a good person. Nobody deserves this,” said a woman who identified herself as Edmons’ sister, per the New York Daily News. “They just wanted their 15 minutes of fame.”

A police investigation is ongoing.

Shooting took place in the parking lot of the housing marcy park housong at 644 Park Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11206. Police investigation ongoing as of right now.
