Flamingos get into formations that help them withstand the winds
As Cyclone Nisarga was approaching the west coast of India with its eye expected to near Mumbai during the day the flamingos came and set base in the wetlands in the morning The video shot from my window captures the behaviour of the flamingos of Talawe Navi Mumbai as the Cyclone Nisarga approaches When the cyclonic winds come they quickly unite and get into formations that help them withstand the winds We humans do have much to learn from them It was equal parts inspiring and exhilarating watching these pink beauties with the video capturing a fraction of the mesmerising feeling
