Heavy rains and gusty winds were observed along the coasts of South Korea's southern regions as Typhoon Maysak inches closer to the peninsula on Wednesday, September 2.

Maysak plowed into South Korea as a category 2 storm, battered Jeju Island before moving ashore on the Korean Peninsula.
