A mesmerising timelapse reveals the night sky from a pilot’s perspective while traveling from Fresno, California to Guadalajara, Mexico.

The four-hour Airbus A320 flight shot using a GoPro Max highlights glowing cities and a vivid sunrise.

"We were cruising at 37,000 ft at a speed of 480 mph (773 km/h) and overflying the northern Mexican states," the Airbus pilot (@theairbuspilot) told Newsflare.

He added: "At the beginning, you can actually see the stars and some constellations like Orion, the hunter, Ursa Major, and Ursa Minor as well as a meteor entering the atmosphere.

"You can also appreciate the Earth’s rotation by looking at the star's movement."

This flight took off from Fresno, California and landed at Guadalajara, Jalisco. It lasted a little bit more of 4 hours and we got to see the sunrise on our left while we were cruising at 37,000ft at a speed of 480 m/ph (773km/h) and overflying the northern Mexican states.
Almost at the beginning you can actually see the stars and some constellations like Orion the hunter, the ursa major and Ursa Minor as well as a meteor entering the atmosphere (second 48) and you can also appreciate the Earth’s rotation by looking at the star's movement.
