A heartwarming video has emerged of a 15 year-old girl receiving a surprise ticket to New York City from a police man inWest Chester Township,Ohio, US.

The footage, shot with a cellphone by the mother earlier this month, shows Sydney being pulled over by a police man because [I'm not sure why].

The teenager remains extremely calm and gives her tamps to the officer for him to check them.

When he comes back the policeman hands a ticket to Sydney that she has to sign and tells her to read the document carefully.

Sydney then realises that it is actually a ticket to New York City rather than a fine.

"My entire life, my dream has been to go to New York City. My parents decided to team up with the West Chester Police Department to help surprise me with tickets to NYC" Sydney later wrote online.

"When he held out the paper for me to sign, it said 'You are going to New York!'".
