Awesome surprise marriage proposal catches girlfriend off-guard
An awesome video has emerged from the US of a man surprising his girlfriend with a marriage proposal while she's feeding him a piece of cake on his birthday.
The video, filmed in a Jamaican restaurant called Negril Village in New York in March, shows Mark surprising Georgi with the ring, when she's least expecting it.
Amusingly, she doesn't notice for a few second because she is busy "organising" the party.
The couple have been together for around five years and Georgi wasn't expecting him to propose because he has always been "reluctant"
"I gave him my ring size and a link to Pinterest, then basically put it out of my mind because we were so happy together I didn't think there was a reason to pressure him further," she wrote online.
"I think he was totally brilliant because I was SO distracted planning this little birthday gathering for him that a proposal was the furthest thing from my mind."
"I was so caught up making the custom Gluten-free banana coconut custard cake, rounding up guests, etc. that I was completely blind-sided," she continued.
"He had picked out the ring himself, during a trip to Atlanta, so I just really had no idea it was coming (his friends were only told that night) - in fact it was the opposite, I had resigned myself."
Mark and Georgi got married on July 2 this year.
