Rapper breaks audience member's phone on stage in Germany
An unusual video has emerged of a rapper breaking an audience member's phone during a performance in Koblenz, Germany on Sunday.
The footage, captured by spectator Boo Pachuco late last month, shows American artist ‘R.A. the Rugged Man’ walking over mid-rap to snatch the phone away from Pachuco's hands.
The rapper then records himself singing into the camera before throwing the phone to the ground.
According to Pachuco, the incident resulted in a broken screen:
“The concert was great and the energy R.A. performed with was awesome. At every concert I go to, I choose one song to film and enjoy the rest dancing and bouncing” Pachuco later wrote online.
“It's important to me to let you know, that I don't blame R.A. for anything. He finished the song in the video and asked me about the phone. When he saw that the display was cracked, he asked for a price and told me to contact him again after the show - so I did. He wanted to pay the full price of the phone, but when I mentioned that I have insurance for it, we agreed on the insurance fee. R.A. was pretty nice about it, so you might understand that I don't want negative publicity for him” he added.
