London's Richmond Park flooded with traffic on first weekend of second lockdown
As England entered its second lockdown many wanted to escape to the scenic views of London's Richmond Park but were met with bumper-to-bumper traffic.
Footage captured by a cyclist on November 7 shows the long queues of cars seemingly going nowhere fast as everybody had the same idea to go to the iconic park on the first weekend of lockdown.
England went into lockdown on Thursday (November 5) in an effort to slow the rate of COVID-19 infections across the country ahead of Christmas.
The filmer said online: "Do people enjoy queuing in their cars? I mean I assume these are not key workers going to work."
