A man in Stříbro, Czech Republic recorded an avocado tree's growth over 62 days by planting the pit in a glass of water.

Petr Ganaj used over 8,000 photos taken in 10 to 60-minute intervals to create the timelapse.

He told Newsflare: "I like to capture nature in ways the naked eye can’t see it."

62 days, originaly taken over 8000 photos, but at the end used only about 5300 with skipping frames in slower growing parts. Therefore the interval between photos is variable between 10-60 minutes.

At start of the photo shooting the pit has been in water already about 3 weeks.
Unfortunately at day 42, there were technical problems (I forgot to extend the timer :D ) and 2 days were not photographed.
