Throngs of people crowded town and city centers in and around London over the weekend following the easing of COVID-19 restrictions.
Seemingly disregarding social distancing, people in holiday mood were seen packing markets and shopping areas like Oxford street in London and the Nottingham Christmas Market.
London is still under tier 2 “high risk” restrictions.
