On a crisp & clear Boxing Day evening (December 26) with excellent visibility (helped by the cold weather), it was just about possible to see The Shard Christmas lights display - from a remarkable 40 miles away (as the crow flies) - in Minster on Sea, Kent!

The footage and pictures were taken using two of Olympus's top super telephoto lenses, unfortunately, Storm Bella made it virtually impossible to get non shaky footage.

The Shard is London's & western Europe's tallest landmark at 310m high.
