Critical Indian highway to remain closed due to sudden damages
The Jammu-Srinagar Highway in India, the only surface link connecting Kashmir Valley with the rest of the world, will remain closed as of January 11 after first sustaining damages last week.
The thoroughfare was closed due to the sudden collapse of the retaining wall of an important bridge at Kela Morh, Ramban with no optional immediate carriageway available.
It will take at least five days to repair the damaged bridge, as stated by NHAI.
